Many shows are kicking off the summer with thriller, coming-of-age season premieres that has teenagers waiting on the edge of their seats. The most anticipated being “Pretty Little Liars” where questions will be answered but leaves fans wondering: will “A” finally be revealed?

Originally written as a novel by Sara Shepard in 2008, “Pretty Little Liars” was made into a television show back in 2010 by Marlene King.

“I love the show, I can’t wait to see it next month,” sophomore Adrianna Rojas said. “I never assume what’s going to happen next, everything’s a surprise. It’s a perfect blend of drama and mystery.”

The show follows four friends; Aria (portrayed by Lucy Hale), Spencer (portrayed by Troian Bellisario), Hanna (portrayed by Ashley Benson) and Emily (portrayed by Shay Mitchell) who go through high school baring with the death of their best friend and queen-bee, Alison (Sasha Pieterse).

A year later, they receive messages from a mysterious figure who goes by the name “A,” threatening to expose their secrets. They all begin to question the death of Alison on the grounds that she was the only one who knew their secrets. The four girls soon realize that “A” isn’t the only one willing to expose the truth, leading to a web of mistrust.

“Cause two can keep a secret if one of them is dead,” is right. Nobody can be trusted in the show, not even those within a clique. Keep up with the mystery June 10, 8/7c on ABC Family.
