Athlete of the Month: Joshua Fleisher hits it home

Q: When did you start playing baseball?
A: I started to play organized baseball when I was six years old.

Q: What inspired you to start playing baseball?
A: I wanted to play baseball when I saw my brother playing.

Q: What position do you play?
A: I play second and third base.

Q: What is your biggest accomplishment?
A: My biggest accomplishments were being all league in the West Valley League last year and being the MVP of my team. I also won a ring when my team won the city championship at Dodger Stadium.

Q: What do you feel you need to improve on?
A: I need to become a better hitter and I need to be smarter in certain counts at the plate.

Q: How do you manage your time?
A: I manage my time by making a schedule in my head of everything that I need to get done. I follow an everyday rou ne but I leave exibility just in case something happens unexpectedly.”

Q: Do you plan on playing baseball in college?
A: I have a goal of playing college baseball. I want to make it to the highest level of baseball that is possible.”
