Day of the Dead altars honor lost loved ones

Office staff assembled and decorated a Day of the Dead altar in the main office, which brightly greets those who enter the school.
Vibrant altars honoring Dia de los Muertos, known in English as Day of the Dead, were displayed across campus today and yesterday. The altars were created by students, staff and teachers to remember lost loved ones.
“It brings my family or friends who have passed away together,” Office Technician Lupe Osorio said.
