Officers from the LAUSD police department were on campus today filming a PSA for a anti-bullying project at Daniel Pearl Magnet High School.

Officer David Marroquin, who was a part of “Ice cream with a cop” day, is directing the film. The film is about a young boy named Aylan (Jason Echeveria) who is starting a new school and is having a hard time socializing and fitting it.

Sergeant Julie Spyr of the LAUSD police department is coordinating the project

“We want to send a message to schools and the community,” Spyr said.
