About
The Pearl Post is the student-run newspaper of Daniel Pearl Magnet High School. The newspaper began in September 2009 and is published monthly. The news website started in September 2012 and is updated on daily basis.
Mission:
The Pearl Post newspaper is an open forum for student expression, as allowed by California Education Codes 48907 and 48950, committed to excellence in reporting, writing and photography. The newspaper strives to inform and educate students and faculty on events affecting Daniel Pearl Magnet High School. The thoughts and opinions published in these pages are the work of the journalism students and do not represent the position of Daniel Pearl Magnet High School, its administrators or the Los Angeles Unified School District.
