Hit K-pop boy band Tomorrow x Together (TXT) came “Back for More” as they embarked on their new tour ACT: TOMORROW.
After attending their previous tour, ACT: PROMISE, on May 21, 2024, I was filled with excitement and anticipation when the group’s management, HYBE, announced that TXT was coming back to the United States in 2025. Once my mom and I bought tickets, it was a waiting game until, in the blink of an eye, it was concert day: Sept. 12.
Screams emerged at BMO Stadium once group members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai opened up with fan-favorite song “LO$ER=LO♡ER.” After witnessing this song live for the third time, it gave me nostalgia from when I first discovered the group back in 2021.
As the concert progressed, the group performed hit songs such as “Blue Hour,” “Love Language” and “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You.)” With every performance, the group created a loving and memorable experience for MOA (Moments of Alwaysness,) the group’s fan base. The energy from both TXT and MOA was ecstatic.
Being able to sing, dance and fangirl with other MOA made my experience at the concert truly magical. This feeling was powerful when the group performed my favorite track of theirs, “No Rules.” Once the song started, I stood up so fast and started singing my heart out. Right before the song ended, I participated in the fanchat that I initially learned about in my room when the album of this song was first released.
After a high-energy performance, the members spoke to MOA about their feelings and memorable moments from the concerts.
“Your guys’ energy was so high,” Youngest member Huening Kai said during his ending speech. “I’m so happy to be with you all and dance on stage.”
Following the other member’s ending speech, the group performed three more songs, “Wishlist,” “Cat & Dog” and the final song to finish off the concert, “Magic.” Before exiting the stage, the members took their last bow and showed their love for the city by screaming, “We love LA.”
Seeing TXT live in concert for a third time was pure joy and created more memorable memories. I highly recommend giving their music a try and watching them perform in concert.
