Students enjoy homecoming dance under the walk of fame

Students and staff attended this year’s homecoming dance held in the MPR from 6 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 17. The Hollywood Walk of Fame themed dance included a photobooth, dancing and the crowning of the homecoming court. Each grade had their own court election.

Freshmen Mea Bailey and Axel Jimenez were crowned homecoming lord and lady. Sophomores Emely Cortez and Zeike Palacios were crowned homecoming duchess and duke. Juniors Jasmine Thompson and Giancarlo Valdez were crowned homecoming princess and prince. Seniors Delilha Trujillo and Ray Harris were crowned homecoming king and queen.

Alex Salcedo, Visual Editor

Alex Salcedo is this year’s Visual Editor for The Pearl Post. As a junior in his second year on the DPMHS Student Media staff, he is focusing on capturing moments that speak louder than words. This year, he aims to grow his portfolio and take the photojournalism aspect of The Pearl Post to the next level. Outside of school, you’ll find him refining his camera skills. He also enjoys playing music, going to the gym or catching up on much-needed sleep.

Brenden Rosenthal, Staff Writer

Brenden Rosenthal is a sophomore who was on the DPMHS Student Media staff for Fall 2025 semester. His goal for this school year is to express his passion for sports in his articles and photography. Brenden is Sports Club President, a Pearl Ambassador, a Board District 3 Student Advisory Council member and the class of 2028 President. Outside of school, Brenden likes training for various martial arts or running long distances.

Isabella Tolosa, Yearbook Editor-in-Chief

Isabella Tolosa is a junior and this year’s Prestige Yearbook Editor-In-Chief. For her second year on staff, she aims to create an unforgettable year compiled into a book. At school, she serves as the president for both Hispanic Heritage Club and Sharks for Christ. She is also a Pearl Ambassador. Outside of school, Isabella enjoys listening to music, exploring places with friends or volunteering and being part of her community.
