Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Region North Superintendent Dr. David Baca addresses the freshman class in the MPR during period 5 on April 17. LAUSD officials visited the school to distribute turquoise dry-wick hoodies in a project intending to help students keep cool during hot days. District officials will return in two weeks to get feedback from the freshmen.
