Spring break is a time to have fun and relax. What better way to do this than by catching up on some of the best shows  Netflix has to offer? Here are some of the best ones to binge-watch this spring break.

The Umbrella Academy

Superheroes, time travel and an impending apocalypse all come together in “The Umbrella Academy.” With abilities ranging from being able to manipulate reality, jumping through space and time and talking to the dead, the members of the Umbrella Academy go on missions and become superheroes known far and wide. These seven adoptive siblings reunite after the death of their father and attempt to save the world from something unknown all while time travelers attempt to thwart their efforts.

Queer Eye

Netflix’s revival of the early 2000s show “Queer Eye” sees a new Fab Five as they travel around Atlanta helping those who need a major lifestyle makeover. Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown and Jonathan Van Ness revitalize everything from food to fashion, all while helping the person become the best version of themselves. The show is accurately described as “more than a makeover” with tears, laughs and sappy, heartfelt moments guaranteed to leave you French-tucking your shirts and engaging in daily self-care routines.

You

Described as the more modern and extreme “Gossip Girl,” “You” brings “Pretty Little Liars” star Shay Mitchell and  Penn Badgley, who’s best known for his portrayal of Dan Humphrey on “Gossip Girl,” together in this psychological thriller based on the book by Caroline Kepnes. Badgley plays bookstore manager Joe Goldberg who meets aspiring writer Guinevere Beck, Mitchell, and falls in love. This infatuation soon becomes an obsession when Goldberg tries to become closer to Mitchell, even if it means getting rid of those in his way to get her attention.

Santa Clarita Diet

Drew Barrymore stars in the Netflix comedy “Santa Clarita Diet” as Sheila, a normal woman living in Santa Clarita, California whose life drastically improves after becoming a cannibalistic soccer mom. With her whole life in the air after her transformation, her husband Timothy Olyphant, daughter, Liv Hewson, and dorky next-door neighbor, Skyler Gisondo, struggle in their attempts to change her back.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Based on the Archie Comics character Sabrina Spellman, “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” follows a young girl as she maneuvers through the difficulties of being half-witch, half-human, while also fighting against evil forces. The bewitching show stars “Mad Men” star Kiernan Shipka and “Teen Beach Movie” star Ross Lynch.
