Restaurant Review: Sizzling five star review for Stars Drive-In

If you ever find yourself around Park in the Westside of the valley, check out Stars Drive-In to feel like you went back in time to the glorious 1950s.

The restaurant is a very clean establishment filled with red and white booths, glass walls, jukeboxes at each table and an Elvis Presley statue along with a Betty Boop statue. As a tribute to the many famous movie stars of the time, you see walls with framed pictures and their iconic appearances in the 1950s that make for nice conversational pieces. The restaurant may be a little small but it is popular, lively, exciting and filled with customers.

You can order many classic American dishes such as cheeseburgers with delicious lightly salted fries. There is also a dinner and breakfast menu that you can select from. For breakfast, order the waffle combo which includes two waffles, eggs and sausage or the turkey club sandwich with fries for dinner. Each only cost ing $6.49, Stars Drive-In is not only appetizing but inexpensive as well.

Whether you dine in or take it to go, the food is always tasty and cheap. There is also a drive through which takes a while but great foods, such as those at Stars Drive-In, take a while.

While you wait for your food, you can scroll down the jukebox and select songs for your enjoyment, while you embrace a great time in Americana history.

Another nice thing about this restaurant, is the family friendly environment it offers with pinball and claw machines.

The restaurant is located at 20445 Sherman Way, Winnetka.
