If you are addicted to sweet and fruity drinks, “The Right Cup” may be the  revolutionary beverage holder to help you enjoy their flavors without the adverse health effects of excessive sugar.

“The Right Cup” is an aromatic fruit flavored cup that tricks the user’s brain into thinking pure water tastes like flavored water.

As soon as you put your lips on the cup, your nose is positioned right over the opening, picking up the fruit aroma that tricks your brain into thinking you are drinking flavored water, when in reality it is simple clear water.

The cup is  designed to better hydrate the user and lead them in the direction of a healthy lifestyle, by convincing them that they’re drinking a flavored sugary drink, when in reality, it’s plain H2O.

Isaac Lavi, founder and CEO of The Right Cup, was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 30.  His doctor gave him an order, advising him to keep away from sugary drinks. However, Lavi soon realized the difficulty of this task.

With his expertise in scent marketing Lavi was able to turn his disdain for plain water into the product that works for him, the Right Cup. Levi realized that his invention could help many who have the same problem he had.

Initially the cups were available in four different flavors: mixed berry, orange, apple and lemon-lime. However, the company says additional flavors including peach and cola are in the making. The Right Cup can currently be bought for $11.49 at Target.

If all goes as planned, the product could potentially be a sweet, sweet success.
