Marvel- This fandom includes comic books, movies, videogames and TV shows which take place in the Marvel universe, a place where superheroes exist and fight crimes caused by villains. The most recent shows for Marvel include “Jessica Jones” and “Daredevil.” The release of “Captain America: Civil War” on May 6 also led to much excitement and anticipation in the fandom.

DC- The DC fandom includes comic books, movies, videogames and TV shows that take place in a universe where superhe- roes fight crimes, similar to their common rivals: the Marvel fandom. It is actually set in a very different universe, however, since there is a difference in heroes, villains and settings. There is anticipation in the DC fandom since the DC universe is launch- ing more than 20 new comics with return- ing superheroes such as Batman, Justice League, and The Flash in June.
