The recently released boxing film is a spinoff of the classic movie “Rocky” where Sylvester Stallone stars as Rocky Balboa and mentors Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan), the son of his former rival, Apollo Creed. The film takes on a different perspective than the original movie as it is shown through the view of a young black millennial. While nothing trumps the original, this film certainly comes close to its origin.

Furious 7

The seventh installment to the “Fast & Furious” franchise did not disappoint fans as it was action-packed, filled with car chases and heavy weaponry. Also, the comrade between the actors offscreen projected on screen which made the movie memorable for the fans as it honored Paul Walker’s memory.

This fourth installment to “Jurassic Park” was a box-office hit that the older and younger generation is able to watch as it is known as a classic movie. Set after two decades of the original movie, the film successfully tied together the past and the present with the combination of dinosaurs and advanced technology to create an abnormal dinosaur DNA that could potentially wreak havoc.

According to The New York Times’ review by Manohla Dargis, this long-awaited sci-fi movie has been a pleaser for many fans as it was perfectly portrayed exactly as it was in the book and therefore, many were satisfied. Nevertheless, this dystopian adventure film can be interesting as it was filled with many talented actors such as Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks and many more.
