Sports played: Swimming, water polo. Position played: For water polo, a driver Years played: Water Polo for four years; swimming, 13 years. Highlights of being in sports: “You get to meet new people. You get to go to Bir- mingham pep rallies and sports events.” How being an athlete helped you: “It helped me with time management and I guess I knew that I had to be on top of my homework because I had swim practice.” Do you plan to play in college? “Yes, I’m going to probably do swim club and water polo club in college.”
