Technology is a growing industry coming out with the newest and coolest items for consumers. This year the industry boomed, here are the top three technological items of the year.

Number three, the Oculus Rift. This device created by Samsung has created a new era of gaming. The headset sets the user into the most realistic gaming experience in history. When using the Oculus Rift,  your head is literally in the game. The device uses trackers that follows where you’re “looking.”

This device is becoming increasingly popular due to world famous gamers using the product, like  Felix Avrid or Pewdiepie.  Though the Oculus Rift is pretty pricey, ranging from $200-$400, way out of range for most gamers.

Number two, the infamous iPhone 6 Plus. With the size of a Samsung, the iPhone 6 plus sets the pace for the Apple company. Now with a 5.5” Retina HD display the screen screams color into your face. The camera is a brilliant as ever taking clearer pictures, and clearer videos.

It also comes with better battery life. So instead of worrying over which app to use, you can use any app without significant loss of battery.  Playing games on an iPhone has never become much easier. It even includes a fingerprint reader, which the phone remembers only yours and a few others fingerprints.  With it’s slimmer size and larger screen, gamers could enjoy playing their favorite games.

And last but not least the number one, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. This sleek and new design of phones has created an entirely new age. Instead of metal the Edge is made of plastic causing it to have a unique slant to the right side of the phone called the “Edge Screen.” The screen enhances the ability to multi-task on the phone.

Besides the “Edge Screen” the Edge shares  similarities to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, which was released on the same day. It’s camera takes brighter and clearer pictures, perfect for selfie lovers. At first glance you would be shocked by the Edge’s large size. But the size comes with benefits. The screen provides over 500 pixels more than the iPhone 6 Plus.
