Flashing lights and loud noises filled the halls of Daniel Pearl Magnet High School today. There wasn’t a huge dance party going on, but the first fire drill of the year. Students gathered all of their belongings and proceeded out to The Grove about halfway through fourth period when the alarm went off. Once outside, students and teachers flocked to the few trees in the front for some relief from the summer heat.
