"Million Second Quiz" hits the television screen

By Dion Mazor

The Million Second Quiz (MSQ) has people from across the country battling head-to-head for the biggest prize in game show history.

The purpose of the game is to gain control of the money chair. To do so, the challenger will face off in bouts of ten trivia questions each worth a various amount of points. The more bouts you win, the closer you are to the money chair and ultimately, becoming a line jumper for a chance to be flown out to the MSQ set in New York to win real cash on the real money chair. The television game show made its debut on Sept. 9.

The game is quite simple; hit the play button and watch as the server magically connects you to your choice of a random opponent and soon with friends. Use your trivia skills to score a minimum of 3500 points and earn a qualifying spot as a line jumper.

Every so often, you might feel the need to scope out your opposition on television and rightfully so. The new update of MSQ enables its users to stream live to actual gameplay. Watch MSQ on air to play the same game in real time, as if this application is not  interactive enough. Also, don’t forget to share your leaderboard score and rank with your friends on Facebook and Twitter.

The MSQ game is free and features social one-on-one gameplay with hundreds of trivia questions available in the Apple App Store but is not yet available for Android.

After giving it a shot, share your input with the people of MSQ who will continue to incorporate fan feedback with every update.
