Galaxy Attack: Alien Shooter” will give you nostalgic flashbacks to past arcade games.

The objective of the game is to save the universe in a spaceship and to shoot aliens. Along the way, you will receive power-ups such as the ability to have more shooting rays at a time or to pick up new with unique rays. You must watch out for the enemy rockets that try to take you out.

You can play with up to two friends in the multiplayer game mode. There is a betting system with in-game coins where you can place a bet when you play multiplayer. In order to unlock multiplayer, you must pass the first four campaign levels.

While the app is free, there are also optional in-app purchases. One of the possible purchases is a starter pack which comes with 3000 coins, one rocket, one shield and three crystals and is currently 80 percent off coming out to a grand total of a dollar. With the coins, you are able to buy more power-ups like the crystals and a variety of rockets. The crystals represent extra lives you can get after you die to keep going in the game.

“Galaxy Attack: Alien Shooter” requires IOS 8.0 or later and the game can only be purchased on the App Store.
