Instagram recently launched a new update in which users can now post more than one photo in a single post.

“This product was inspired by members of our community, who have told us that there are times they want to share more than just one moment from a memorable experience in their feed,” according to the Feb. 22 article  “Instagram Just Announced Its Biggest & Most Controversial Update Yet” published on refinery29.com.

All users have to do is open up the camera feature and there will be a square icon in which users can select up to 10 videos or pictures. You are able to apply the same filter to every picture or edit them one by one.

The order of the photos can also be changed by holding down the picture and arranging it to your liking. However grouping the images or videos in the same post will give them all the same caption and standard square shape.

You can tell when a person posts using this feature by the blue dots appearing the bottom of the post, which indicate how many photos there are.

This 10.9 version of Instagram is now available for IOS in the Apple App Store and on Google Play.
