Not every scholarship requires pages of applications and essays, some are solely based on a talent or a quirky personality trait. Now it’s even easier to find scholarships that suit every student’s individuality and preferences.

 

Twin/Triplet Dorm Room Waiver

Students entering Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College as freshmen with a twin or as triplets are eligible for the twin/triplet dorm room waiver. The siblings must attend the college together but don’t need to live in the same room. The amount of money given for the scholarship varies.

 

The Kor Memorial Scholarship

The Klingon Language Council offers $500 scholarships to students who find creative uses for the language of Klingon from Star Trek.

National Potato Council Scholarship

Each year, the National Potato Council awards one student a scholarship worth $10,000. The student must conduct research that benefits the potato industry on topics such as trade, environment, regulations and legislation.

Little People of America Scholarship

People 4’10” or shorter in height can win scholarships from LPA if they are members in the organization.

John Gatling Grant Program

Society of Vacuum Coaters Foundation Scholarship Fund

Part of a student’s college tuition can be funded by the Society of Vacuum Coaters Foundation if the student choose a field related to vacuum coating technology.

Tall Clubs International Scholarship

Students under the age of 21 attending their first year of college the following fall are eligible for this scholarship. Women must be at least 5’10” and men must be at least 6’2.”

The Zombie Apocalypse Scholarship

To apply for this scholarship, students must write a short essay explaining their plan of action if zombies took over their school.

Make it With Wool Scholarship

Students must make a garment from wool or a wool blend and model it in a photo to have the chance to go to the National Competition. The scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $2,000. Entree fees are $12.
