Ending with a rocky season, the Birmingham Patriots are striving  to do well in the next upcoming season.

“We tried our hardest during the season, but somewhere it looks like we just fell apart. We went on a losing streak during the beginning of the season and then started to win a few more games and lost in the end,”  junior Eric Flowers said.

The Patriots struggled to strive during the beginning of the season but slowly started to pick up their pace towards the end of the  season. In the end they managed to pick up their pace winning a few games but ended up with an overall score of 6-6.

In the beginning of the season, junior Stanley Cea was injured due to an accident. Due to injury Cea was unable to participate in several games until he was completely healed.

“I really wish I could have played in the games that I missed, we were missing players that we needed to complete certain plays and because of that we weren’t able to score as much as we could have,”  junior Stanley Cea said.

As the team starts summer practice they work hard to strive in the upcoming pre-season games. Their goal is to make it to city championships and beyond.
